In this installment you are being treated to yet another amazing discussion with a musician that is on top of the world right now. Pete talks to Phil Shouse, guitar player for the Gene Simmons band, who was recently hired along with his 2 partners in rock, Jeremy Asbrock and Ryan Spencer Cook, to be members of Ace Frehley's new touring band along with drummer Matt Starr.
Pete and Phil geek out on their shared love of all things Kiss, the Kruise , New Jersey Expo where they will play the '78 Ace solo album in its entirety for the 1st time ever, his musical backgrounds and upbringing and heroes, and his recent stint for the last year or so in Gene Simmons solo band.
The meat of the interview is in regard to his recent hiring by Ace Frehley and the insanely cool stuff that lies ahead. They also touch on Phil's side business...Muttmerch.com, dog themed rock n roll t-shirts for you and your pooch!
You can hear the enthusiasm and passion that Phil and his pals are going to bring to this project.
Listen, enjoy, and get as excited as Vinny and I are for this tour! Phil and the boys will help Ace dive deep into the catalog for sure!
